Ten automated external defibrillators, donated by the company “Stoiximan“, as part of the social responsibility program “Stoiximan Heroes”, were received by the Ministry of Health.
The handover took place in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Health, Marios Themistokleous, and the CEO of the company “Stoiximan,” Nikos Fligos.
The defibrillators will be distributed tosports clubs and associations, helping to enhance safety at sports facilities and enabling an immediate response to emergencies, where the speed of intervention is critical.
“Strengthening the immediate response to emergencies is a critical factor in protecting human life. The donation of 10 additional automated external defibrillators by Stoiximan makes a substantial contribution in this direction and reinforces the effort to increase the availability of critical equipmentwhere it may be needed,” stated Mr. Themistokleous.
For his part, Mr. Fligos stated that for “Stoiximan, sports are not just top-tier events, great moments, and powerful emotions. Above all, it is people: the athletes, the fans, the families, and the communities that come together around the game. The donation of 10 defibrillators to the Ministry of Health, as part of Stoiximan Heroes, serves precisely this belief. Access to a defibrillator at a critical moment can save a human life. At a time when world soccer is once again in the spotlight, with the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we want to send a clear message: the love of sports must be accompanied by care, prevention, and responsibility.”
