Sharp criticism of the “feudal lord” Alexis Tsipras, as well as his inner circle of “salon leftists,” is leveled by Nikos Karanikas.

He lives in his own little world. He acts like a feudal lord, and his inner circle like an elite,” notes the former strategic planning advisor to the SYRIZA government in a post, accusing Alexis Tsipras of treating the public like fools and “has made thousands of leftists ashamed to say they are on the left.”

This was prompted by comments made by actor Emilios Cheilakis on a podcast, namely that Alexis Tsipras “is like Joconda—no matter which way you look at him, you think he’s looking at you,” Nikos Karanikas speaks of “ridicule” and “the humiliation of the left with a former prime minister and former president of a left-wing party spouting whatever nonsense they feed him and concoct among themselves in the salon of nonsense.”

“It’s not enough that they treat him like a feudal lord in a political party, with his followers bowing down to him; now they also see him as the Mona Lisa, gazing straight into the world’s eyes, thinking he has conquered it and will rule tomorrow. Have mercy,” comments Nikos Karanikas.

He also accuses Alexis Tsipras of “he’s out of touch with reality,” while regarding his institute, he adds that “they’re a bunch of socially illiterate people who’ve ruined him with their vague, ridiculous nonsense.”

Regarding the former prime minister’s proposal for free public transportation , he writes that “he hasn’t understood it.” That makes sense, since none of them use public transit—they’re too comfortable to be crammed in like sardines. He lives in his own little world. He acts like a feudal lord, and his circle acts like the elite.”

The post

Nikos Karanikas notes in his post:

Has this gotten out of hand?

From decay and decline, the armchair “leftists” of Tsipras’s IX have descended into ridicule.

They have no grasp of reality and spout so much nonsense that we’ll get used to this disgrace of the left, with a former prime minister and former president of a left-wing party spoutingspout whatever nonsense they feed him and concoct among themselves in their den of gibberish.

No self-respect whatsoever.

It’s not enough that they treat him like a feudal lord in a third-rate party, with his followers bowing down to him; now they also see him as Mona Lisa who looks the world straight in the eye and thinks she has conquered it and will rule tomorrow. Have mercy.

Meanwhile, I’m sure he hasn’t noticed the criticism directed at him regarding the five pre-election proposals, the declaration, and the manifesto written for him by his “luminaries.”

He hasn’t heard the term “vague rhetoric.”

Out of touch with reality.

He didn’t pick up on it because he didn’t understand what it means to be out of touch with reality, and his think tank consists of socially illiterate people who have ruined him with their vague nonsense. They convinced him that politics is a science. Is he into scientific socialism, too?

I’m sure he hasn’t grasped the proposal for free public transit, which identifies the fare as the main problem.

That makes sense, since none of them actually use public transportation—they’re too comfortable to be packed in like sardines.

He lives in his own little world. He acts like a feudal lord, and his entourage acts like the elite.

Then there’s the delusion that arose because he saw a crowd at his speech and thinks that overnight he’s become the official opposition and the day after tomorrow he’ll be prime minister—and that is indeed.

Someone should help him out.

It’s concerning because he’s forgetting that back in 2023, his campaign rallies were also a madhouse, but in the end he got 17% and lost by 20 points to Mitsotakis, even though he expected that if he didn’t win, he’d at least lose by 3%.

Flattery transcends memory and logic. It’s like empathy, but in reverse.

He basically considers the world gullible and has become flattered by his own self-flattery of those around him.

He doesn’t realize that through his actions and words, he has made thousands of left-wing people ashamed to say they’re on the left.

What makes him think people take him seriously and consider him trustworthy?

But he’s being fawned over by sycophants, the careerists, the desperate left-wing followers who lost their status as equal members of the left-wing party and became mere cheerleaders.

No one says anything sensible to him.

Just flattery. Tsipras is in a bind.

This is his entourage, and it’s well known.

The “11” of subservience and incompetence is writing its own history, and we’ll remember it goofing off while staring straight at the Mona Lisa and munching on Joconda chocolates.

The moral high ground is gone, as it is a burden on self-interest, and Tsipras and his officials have squandered it by behaving like feudal lords, staging coups and turning the party into a private fiefdom.

P.S.

The decline of certain artists around him is no different from the decline of his MPs and officials who cling to power.

Don’t start making excuses.

Decadence knows no bounds, and, as it turns out, even academics can be ridiculous—just like him and his office.

Proof of this lies in what he announces and the way he is treated.

The second photo is from 2023.

Back then, too, there were crowds, and we thought Mitsotakis would lose and Tsipras would win.
