A treasure of 100,000 euros “dug up” by thieves posing as accountant partners from a 76-year-old woman.
The money was buried in the garden of the elderly woman according to APE – MPE. The fraud was discovered in a village in the greater Lagada area of Thessaloniki, while a 22-year-old man was arrested.
According to police, the 22-year-old, together with his accomplice, whose details have not yet been identified, went under the above pretext to the home of the elderly woman, from where… they dug up the savings of the victim.
A case was filed against the 22-year-old arrested, while the second perpetrator is wanted.
