A fire broke out in an agricultural and forested area in the Palea Krovyli area, in the Municipality of Maroneia – Sapon, in Rodopi.
Forty-two firefighters were mobilized, along with two foot patrol teams from the 7th EMODE, 10 vehicles, and five aircraft.
Support is being provided by water tankers and local government construction equipment.
