New incidents were reported in the early hours of Sunday (June 21) in the Exarchia, causing unrest among residents and prompting a strong police response.

Specifically, shortly after midnight, a group of unknown individuals moved through the area around Tositsa and Tsamadou, where police officers from the DRASI unit, and proceeded to throw bombs Molotov cocktails at them.

The police officers reacted immediately, and the situation escalated within a few minutes. The perpetrators fled on foot into the surrounding alleys, prompting a search operation to locate them in the wider area.

A chase through the streets around

Following the attack, police forces were deployed around Exarchia Square, searching for those involved in the incident.
