A video from the operation that took place on the morning of Friday, June 19, was released by EL.AS., showing footage of the intervention by police officers in Nea Filadelfia and Agioi Anargyroi.
The operation concluded with the arrest of three foreign nationals, aged 28, 25, and 20 years old, who are alleged to have participated in an organized network traffickingnarcotics in Attica.
The searches of the “hideouts” and the seizures
As part of the police operation, searches were conducted at three homes that were being used as storage and distribution sites for drugs.
Police officers located and seized:
- 798 grams of raw cannabis
- 720 grams of processed cannabis
- 226 grams of heroin
- two precision electronic scales
- two folding knives
- one bat
- 835 euros in cash
- drug packaging materials
They had come to the attention of the authorities before
According to the police, the three suspects had previously been investigated by law enforcement for similar cases.
After the case file was completed, they were brought before the competent prosecutor in order to follow the prescribed legal proceedings.
