A harsh message from Pavlos Polakis to Sokratis Famellos regarding the decisions of SYRIZA’s Central Committee as incomprehensible and politically misguided that are deepening the intra-party crisis.
In a particularly tense atmosphere and against the backdrop of the internal turmoil caused by the recent decision by the Central Committee of SYRIZA, Pavlos Polakis is back with a harsh and pointed statement, directing his criticism at the leadership and especially Socrates Famellos, referring to “incomprehensible choices” which, according to him, are exacerbating the confusion and political instability within the party, at a time when the discussion regarding the future and strategic alliances is intensifying in light of critical political developments.
The Political Secretariat of SYRIZA Progressive Alliance is meeting right now, in the wake of the formation of Alexis Tsipras’s Greek Left Coalition.
New barbs from Polakis
Arriving at today’s meeting, Pavlos Polakis, a member of the Political Secretariat, describing the decision of the party’s Central Committee as “incomprehensible.”
According to Mr. Polakis, enough signatures have been collected to compel a meeting of SYRIZA’s Central Committee in order to chart the course toward the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair (TIF) and SYRIZA’s presence there.
He emphasized that a specific roadmap and timeline must be established regarding cooperation with other parties, and that partnerships must be formed for SYRIZA’s electoral campaign, in the event that efforts to reach an agreement and form an electoral front are unsuccessful.
