Another member of PASOK is reportedly set to transfer to the ELAS of Alexis Tsipras, as, according to reports, the regional councilor for Epirus Haris Liouris has already submitted his resignation to Charilaos Trikoupis.
Haris Liouris, who comes from PASOK and is part of the circle of Manolis Christodoulakis, is expected to join the party of Alexis Tsipras, with the aim of forming a core group of leaders that also represents the primary sector.
According to a report by epirusgate.gr, Haris Liouris’s participation in the new political initiative is expected to be officially announced on Saturday, during the meeting of the National Council of ELAS, in which he himself will participate as a member.
Liouris’s move is seen as yet another development in the ongoing processes within the center-left.
