The thermometer hit “red” at meeting of the Conference of Presidents between Zoe Konstantopoulou and George Georgantas.
The president of the Freedom Movement, reiterated the allegations she made on Monday during the Ethics Committee meeting regarding the lifting of her immunity against the vice president of the Parliament, claiming that he leaked information about the OPEKEPE to opposition officials against his colleagues from the same party.
The response by Giorgos Georgantas was immediate and particularly strident: “I’m not afraid of you. Don’t think that your vile lies will intimidate me. I only responded to Kazamias when he asked me about certain technical issues, such as what the national reserve is. You didn’t have an agriculture department, nor did you submit a proposal to the Investigative Committee regarding OPEKEPE. “I will do my job on the Ethics Committee”.
