Tsipras, by constantly invoking his integrity, manages to spare us the trouble of listing his misdeeds.

Tsipras-the-honest (n.) 1. one who lacks even a trace of integrity, dishonorable “If I were in your shoes, I’d avoid getting involved with someone as dishonorable as Alexis” 2. one who tries to deceive others by claiming to be honest “When you hear someone talking about their own integrity, know that they’re probably a tsipredimos, and you’d better stay away from them.”

If you hear someone constantly boasting about their intelligence and bringing it up at every opportunity, then you probably realize they’re a fool. If he were truly smart, everyone would know it, and he wouldn’t need to keep reminding people of it. Similarly, if someone feels the need to constantly point out their honesty, it’s probably because they aren’t honest. If he were truly honest, we’d all know it, and there’d be no need for him to point it out to us—just as a man who’s 2 meters tall doesn’t need to constantly tell us he’s tall. Consequently, the only thing President Tsipras achieves by constantly invoking his integrity is to spare us the trouble of listing his dishonest acts. And his constant boasting about his integrity is enough to make anyone realize that he lacks it. This stands in stark contrast to the vast sums of money required to fund his foundation and political party—about which he stubbornly refuses to say a single word.

No logic

“The opponent of New Democracy is PASOK, and those who want to replace it have failed in the past and will fail now as well,” blurted out Milena Apostolaki, confirming that the main problem with PASOK’s top officials is their disconnect from reality—a reality in which, for the past 15 years, the New Democracy’s only rival has been Jokondou’s SYRIZA.

Yet another grassroots activist

Jokondou’s struggle against the system and the plutocracy continues with his joining ELAS (Jokondou’s, not Michalis’s) of the well-known grassroots activist Petros Kokkalis.

A question…

I’m not surprised by the far-left, but as for PASOK comrades who (first and foremost Mayor Doukas) defend the squatters, I wonder how they can turn against cancer patients for whom accommodation facilities are planned to be built in Prosfigika.
