With the closure of the Bab al-Madab Strait on the Red Sea side, the Houthi again warn in case of an attack by Trump on Iran.

“If Sana’a (Yemen’s capital) decides to close the Bab al-Madab Strait, then neither humanity nor the jinni will be able to open it,” warned Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi. “Therefore, the best thing for Trump – and the world that conspires with him – is to immediately end all practices and policies that hinder peace and show the required respect for the rights of our people and nation,” Hussein al – Ezzi stressed.
Note that Hussein al – Ezzi represents the Houthis, who are allied with Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah. Hussein al-Ezzi’s warning is being issued, as an emergency meeting is underway at the White House under US President Donald Trump, to assess the situation in the Seaway Strait, while the aircraft carrier ‘USS Gerald R. Ford’ and its accompanying task force are sailing in the Red Sea.
The closure of the Bab al-Madab Strait in the Red Sea represents the second passage for global shipping. Any closure in conjunction with the closure of the Hormuz Strait will affect the global economy by causing a gridlock in shipping, oil and other commodities.
Meanwhile, today Iranian forces attacked three oil tankers, one British-flagged and two Indian-flagged.
