The Vice President of the Government Kostis Hatzidakis, speaking at the conference of the New Democracy in Crete.

He directly raised the issue of the quality of political discourse in recent years, stressing: “Is this how Greece will move forward? Is this what we learned from the previous decade? Until when will we continue to solve our differences in a climate of personal attacks?“.

Sending a message of unity and perspective, he stressed that: “All together we are sending a message of determination and perspective: democracy will win, Greece is not turning back“.

He made a special reference to the current challenges, with a special emphasis on water scarcity, noting the need for coordinated interventions. We are joining forces and moving forward with a plan.”

In conclusion, the deputy prime minister set the tone for the next period, linking it to the country’s strategic goal: “From now on, having laid the foundations for Greece of 2030, we must change course.”

At the same time, he expressed confidence that society has strong reflexes, while asserting that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is the leader who can lead the country to the next phase of development.
