AstraZeneca Greece & Cyprus President & CEO Elena Houliara will in two important thematic panels, contributing with the company’s strategic vision and reaffirming its commitment to a sustainable health system, focusing on prevention, innovation and scientific research.

The panel entitled “From Treatment to Prevention: transforming Health Systems” will discuss the crucial role of prevention for the sustainability of health systems, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Health, Erini Agapidaki.

The discussion is expected to highlight the importance of early intervention and targeted National Prevention Programmes and the need to make them permanent in order to ensure a meaningful impact on the lives of our fellow human beings.

Strategy for sustainable economic growth in the future – Friday 24 April at 17.30

The discussion entitled “From Strategy to Solutions” focuses on the initiatives needed to ensure sustainable growth in different sectors. From AstraZeneca’s perspective, the strategic importance of innovation in healthcare will be highlighted and how the challenges arising from the specificities of the domestic pharmaceutical market are addressed.
