The 10 student teams will compete on 8 May 2026 for first place and the representation of Greece in the Pan-European JA Europe/GEN-E 2026 competition in Riga.

Junior Achievement Greece announces the 10 innovative student “startups”that stood out and will compete in the 21st Pan-Hellenic Middle School Best Virtual Business 2026 Competition. The original products/services created by the children “entrepreneurs” impressed the jury of the organization, which, after examining in detail the more than 100 business plans of the student teams from all over Greece, selected the 10 best ones that will compete for the first prize in the national final of the global program/competition “Virtual Business – JA Company Program”.

The Pan-Hellenic Student Competition for the best Virtual Company of the year -which is the leading event of Junior Achievement Greece- will be hosted on Friday 8 May 2026 at the Cultural Center “Hellenic Cosmos” of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, 254 Piraeus St. in Tavros, Attica. The “Best Virtual Business 2026” will represent our country in the Pan-European Competition of the biggest European Youth Entrepreneurship Festival JA Europe/Gen-E 2026 which will take place in Riga, Latvia, on 7-10 July 2026. The Junior Achievement Pan-European Final will involve 40 student “businesses” from all over Europe, the best of which were selected by each country in the national final competitions.

The Student Virtual Enterprises that will compete in this year’s 21st Panhellenic Student Competition 2026,in alphabetical order of name, are:

“Ethra” from the 1st Standard General Lyceum of Chalkida. Ethra is an AI-based personal assistant that analyzes the daily schedule, smartphone usage data and the user’s environment to organize their time, and offers daily personalized schedules. – “WherePass” from the from the Laboratory of Special Vocational Education and Training (S.V.E.E.E.K.) Heraklion, Attica. PuPass is a virtual student enterprise that promotes the inclusion of people with non-visible disabilities through certification of institutions and staff training, enhancing people-centred accessibility in practice. – “Angel Green Compass” from the 1st Gymnasium of Ymittos. Angel Green Compass (A.G.C.) designs green spaces with aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. It creates gardens, parks and squares with bioclimatic design, vertical gardens and planting, enhancing well-being and the human-nature connection. – “BUY AI” by A & B Arsakeio Tositsio High School of Ekali. This is an innovative supermarket shopping app that ensures autonomy and convenience in shopping. The user communicates via voice dialogue with Babi, a friendly assistant, and together they create product baskets tailored to their needs through a pleasant shopping experience. Responsible Teacher. – “Enalion” from the Experimental General Lyceum of Macedonia. It redesigns salt, reducing sodium without loss of taste. Utilizing Greek ulva seaweed, Mesolonghi seaweed and natural ingredients, it creates products that are used like common salt. An innovative, natural solution for healthier eating without compromise. “Fire Guard” from the Private-Isotimo Lyceum-College of Athens. It is an integrated system for prevention, detection and immediate response to fires in the power grid, designed for areas of increased risk, such as forests, energy infrastructure and industrial facilities, contributing substantially to the protection of human life, infrastructure and the natural environment. – “Grow Simple” by the Gymnasium – Lyceum Experimental School of Florina. A small low-consumption device transforms the needs of the plant into messages with personality and emotion. You don’t just see measurements, you communicate with your plant. Technology that brings humans closer to nature. Teacher-in-charge: Yannis Arvanitakis.

– “InnoPath” from Pierce – American College of Athens. Develops digital decision making tool for student and professional groups and businesses. Using design thinking, SCAMPER and multi-criteria analysis, it turns brainstorming into structured and informed choice. From Ideas to Impact. Its core product is called D.A.I.S.Y. and is a smart cube designed to enhance learning through technology and sensory interaction. – “Mycovibe” from the 1st EPAP.L. Kilkis and the 1st General Lyceum of Kilkis. Utilizes mushroom mycelium and agricultural residues for the production of 100% biodegradable packaging. Using AI and IoT, it optimizes the production process, replacing plastic and Styrofoam with sustainable circular economy solutions.
