Directive for immediate neutralization of diggers placing mines in the Sea Strait of Hormuz was given by the president of the USDonald Trump.
As he said, the US Navy has been instructed to “shoot and neutralize any vessel” involved in anarchy, stressing that US forces will act immediately and without hesitation.
He noted that US minehunters are already operating in the area, with the aim of removing mines and ensuring the free passage of ships.
Trump stressed that operations will continue with “triple the intensity”, sending a clear message of resolve to protect one of the world’s most critical maritime corridors.
