Donald Trump reveals that Iran is showing a willingness to reach a deal, with new negotiations already in the spotlight.

At a time of heightened geopolitical tension and intense diplomatic processes, new facts seem to be shaping up around relations between the United States and Iran, with Donald Trump leaving an open window for developments that could change the balance in the Middle East. According to statements, there is an indication that the Iranian side is seeking to re-engage and explore a possible deal, which brings back to the forefront the possibility of a new round of negotiations with the US. This climate reinforces expectations of diplomatic moves behind the scenes, while raising questions about the framework and terms of a possible agreement. At the same time, reports of contacts with international leaders add further weight to developments, suggesting that the issue goes beyond narrow bilateral boundaries and takes on a broader strategic dimension.

In statements today by phone to Reuters, US President Donald Trump said Iran wants to discuss whether an agreement with the US can be reached to meet US demands.

“Our officials who are negotiating with Iran are interacting with the people who are now in charge,” he added, and also said he plans to discuss Iran and other issues further with King Charles next week.
