Andreas Drimiotis was a guest on Action 24, where he sharply addressed the positions of EYangelos Venizelos, making strong criticism.
In particular, the political analyst appeared highly critical, stating that Venizelos’ interventions do not interest him, arguing that since the period when he aspired to assume the Presidency of the Republic and considered his candidacy for the office a possibility, he has adopted a attitude of constant questioning.
At the same time, Drimiotis also criticized institutional choices linked to Greece’s Constitution, noting that the framework for the constitution of independent authorities has created a kind of “bottleneck”. He said that the requirement of a broad majority (3/5) in the Conference of Presidents of the Parliament makes decision-making difficult, while he noted that there should be a provision for a way out in cases of inability to reach an agreement, even with a time limit leading to the replacement of members.
