Adonis Georgiades accuses Nikos Androulakis of toxicity and attacks against the Prosecutors of the Supreme Court in the bugging case.

In a particularly sharp post on social media, Health Minister, Adonis Georgiades, launches a frontal attack on PASOK President Nikos Androulakis, accusing him of “antagonistic” behavior and selective trust in Justice.

The reason for the intervention of Mr. Georgiadis was the reaction of Mr. Androulakis to the decision of the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Mr. Tzavela, not to withdraw from the file the case of telephone tapping.

The Health Minister underlines: “Mr. Androulakis claimed neither more nor less that the Attorney General of the Supreme Court, Mr. Tzavelas, is controlled by the government that appointed him

Mr. Georgiades refuted the claims of government control of the judiciary, recalling the law passed by the Mitsotakis government in 2024. According to him, judicial officials themselves nominate supreme court judges through a secret ballot.

The Health Minister accused the President of PASOK of transferring a personal issue into the public sphere in an “absolutely toxic way”, targeting any prosecutor who does not issue decisions to his liking.

Meanwhile, Mr. Georgiades defended his own stance, stating that his views on the Constitution and Article 90 coincide with those of prominent legal and political figures, such as Venizelos, Pavlopoulos and the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

To see how the masks fall off…,” Mr Georgiades concludes in his post, reversing the “anti-institutionalism” charges against him by Harilaou Trikoupis.
