The arrest of three domestic women, aged 25 and 23, was police officers for the case of extensive damage to the building of the Administrative Court of Appeal of Athens in Ambelokipi.

This operation was carried out by forces of the DI.A.S. and the O.P.K.E., which rushed to the site after a relevant order from the operational center of the G.A.D.A..

A case has been filed against the three women for corruption of property belonging to others, unlawful violence in conspiracy and refusal to fingerprint, by the department responsible for dealing with racist and extremist violence. Meanwhile, investigations are continuing to identify possible accomplices.

According to police, a group of people with covered faces attacked the front of the building using hammers, fire extinguishers and bottles of red paint, causing damage.

Police officers located the three women at a nearby location, detained them and took them to the appropriate agency.

A bag they had discarded was found in a bush near the spot. It contained hats, medical masks and black windbreakers, which were allegedly used to conceal their features.

They were subsequently searched at their residences, where they were seized:

  • masks
  • canister of red paint
  • notebooks with handwriting notes
  • portable computers
  • cell phones

Note that while on duty, the arrested women refused to submit to a fingerprint check. The three women were taken to the relevant prosecuting authority.
