Traffic regulations during night hours will be in force on Line 2 of the Metro tomorrow Sunday and the day after tomorrow due to works for the replacement of rails and installation of 5G network in the Athens Metro.

According to information from STASY, tomorrow Sunday, 3/5, and the day after tomorrow, 4/5, on the “Attiki – University” section, the stations on Line 2 Attiki, Stathmos Larissa, Metaxourgio, Omonoia and Paneumiouni will be closed at 21:40 in the evening, 2 and a half hours earlier than the scheduled end of traffic.

Omonia and Attiki stations will remain open for Line 1 (HSTAP).

Train traffic on Line 2 during working hours will run between Anthoupoli – Sepolia and Syntagma – Hellenic stations.

In detail, the last trains, before the closure of the stations, will depart:

– from SEPOLIA to ELLINIKO at 21:30,

– from ATTIKI to ELLINIKO at 21:32,

– from LARIS STATION to ELLINICO at 21:33,

– from METAXOURGEIO to ELLINICO at 21:34,

– from OMONOIA to ELLINICO at 21:36,

– from PANETHISTIMIO to ELLINIKO at 21:38,

– from SYNTAGMA to ANTHOUPOLI at 21:41,

– from PANETHISTIMIO to ANTHOUPOLI at 21:43,

– from OMONOIA to ANTHOUPOLI at 21:44,

– from METAXOURGEIO to ANTHOUPOLI at 21:46,

– from LARISIS STATION to ANTHOUPOLI at 21:47 and

– from ATTIKI to ANTHOUPOLI at 21:49.

Passengers will be served on the section from Sepolia to Syntagma by the temporary bus line X18 “ST METRO SYNTAGMA – ST METRO AGIOS ANTONIOΣ”, which will not pass through the stations of Sepolia and Attiki. The line will make the following stops:

In the direction of St. Metro Syntagma – St. Metro Agios Antonios:

“SYNTAGMA” (existing stop), “PANEPISTIMIO” (new temporary stop on Panepistimiou Street between Sina and Korai Streets), “OMONOIA” (existing stop), “ST. METAXOURGEIO” (existing stop), “ST. LARISIS’ (existing stop), ‘KADMOU’ (existing stop) and ‘ST. ST. AG. ANTONIOΣ” (existing stop).

In the direction “St. Metro Agios Antonios – St. Metro Syntagma:

“ST.Agios Antonios” (stop, on Ethnarchou Makarios Street), “KADMOU” (existing stop), “ST. LARISIS to SYNTAGMA” (temporary stop on Deligeorgis Street), “PEROKE” (existing stop), “OMONOIA” (existing stop), “PLATEA KLAYTHMONOS” (existing stop), “SYNTAGMA” (existing stop).
