At the same time, in the same period, 27 were confirmed as part of the targeted actions implemented by the Attica Traffic Police Directorate for traffic policing and upgrading the level of road safety.897 offences of which 257 were misdemeanour offences.
Indicatively, the following were confirmed:
– 1,047 offences for driving under the influence of alcohol, of which 59 were misdemeanour offences,
– 1.653 speed limit violations,
– 237 violations for red light running,
– 582 violations for cell phone use,
– 1,240 violations for failure to wear a seat belt,
– 2,323 violations for failure to wear a safety helmet and,
– 47 violations for dangerous maneuvering.
