The new Health Insurance Envelope (HIS) application goes live today as part of the digital transformation project of the EHIS.
The new application is available via the link: New Insurance File Health: https://healthservices.eopyy.gov.gr/eHealthInsuranceRecordInsPerson/secure/index.xhtml.
The currently existing https://eservices.eopyy.gov.gr/eHealthInsuranceRecordInsPerson/login.xhtml application will redirect users to the new application to ensure a smooth transition and seamless service. The transition to the new application is another step towards the upgrade of the EOPYY digital services and better service for the insured.
The new environment aims to provide citizens with more direct and easy access to the information available in the Health Insurance File, with an improved navigation experience, enhanced functionality and greater security in using the service.
As part of the upgrade of the service, access to the new application is now exclusively through the use of secure authentication from the GPS (taxisnet codes), using each user’s personal passwords. This eliminates the need to use separate FAS codes, simplifies the login process and further enhances the security and identification of users, utilizing an already established and reliable mechanism for accessing the digital services of the State.
This change is part of the overall effort to modernize the services of EOPYY, aiming to provide easier, safer and friendlier service to the insured.
“The new application contributes to the overall effort to modernise the Agency’s online services, reducing the need for physical presence and facilitating insured persons’ access to digital health services in a faster, safer and more efficient way,” a statement from the Agency said.
The implementation of the project, which is a sub-project of the broader Digital Transformation of the Health Sector Action (Action 16752), is being implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” and is funded by the European Union under the NextGenerationEU programme.
