According to sources at the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum, the examination process for the resolution of the legal status of foreigners allegedly involved in criminal acts in Syme and Kifisia is underway.
According to the same sources, the Minister of Immigration and Asylum, Thanos Plevris, has instructed the relevant agencies to consider revoking the legal status of foreigners accused of incidents in Symi, as well as an individual allegedly involved in a series of attacks in Kifissia.
According to the same sources, the order is part of a common practice implemented by the ministry, following an order from the minister, under which, in cases where foreigners are involved in criminal acts that may pose a threat to public order, the process of revoking their legal status
is initiated.
