Society is bubbling over as it watches the opposition and in general opposition to attempt to override, in an anti-regulatory manner, the consultation of the prosecution authorities, shaking the confidence of citizens, not this time as regards the functional independence of the Justice but as regards the way politicians think.
In other respects, the major point is that there is an attempt at exact interference or party alignment with regard to the other institutions, so as to form a suffocating cordon against the government; i.e. the major opposition seeks, in any case, by transmitting its strong and vigorous protest to influence the respective institutions, where it has the upper hand, so that the voice of protest of the affected opposition, allegedly against Justice, can be magnified.
But public opinion is still indignant when it sees the opposition in general acting in an anti-institutional manner and questioning the pillar of democracy in protest, i.e. the Justice, because it is obviously not satisfied with its conferences, since it had invested its oppositional tactics in an aberrant outcome.
Enlightened public opinion is keenly aware that the rule of law is tending to transform itself into a style partisanship, which does not even dare to oppose the leading institutions of the republic for the sake of sensationalism and to persuade and persuade their clientele. Their favourite practice becomes the opposite of what is right and proper, being a demonstration of a supposedly fierce fight against the government, in order to distract the government from its deficient policy towards the State.
And this is eloquently reflected in the polls, since the world now, in the context and as a consequence of the existing plurality of broadcasting media, has recovered and is not so easily led to seek the truth and the substantial intention of the opposition.
It is obvious that the lack of political and rational arguments pushes situations irresponsibly to the extreme, because the citizen wants a serious and meaningful opposition, able and suitable to make a thorough opposition to the government and to propose solutions; but today the people know the real from the false, the viable solutions from the communicative philosophy.
Instead of a serious overall policy, the opposition is in a deep sleep and engages in a during demagogic populism, which is more than momentary noise, otherwise, the opposition fails to propose decisive and effective solutions to all the thorny issues that plague society, such as crime, punctuality, national issues, education and so on.
Therefore, a serious opposition recipe is required, which will reach the average citizen, projected by the toil of everyday life and the lower-middle class, and not merely relying communicatively on the salability of the PASOK name, as was the case in the distant past.
Greece needs strengthening of institutions, honesty and sincerity, so that the citizen can feel a sense of security that the State of Law is near, curing chronic pathologies of the past and providing the guarantees that the State is progressing and moving forward in an ever-changing environment, in the sense that society is keen to see, beyond a dystopian, toxic party debate, whether the parties in parliament are making a direct effort to deal with life itself, which transcends the past and is not myopically oriented towards it, nor towards party debates.
Life itself now recognizes a reform based on solid political pillars and foundations in line with international correlations, not on sloganeering rhetoric or pseudo-ideological dogmas, which reproduce the post-civil war hatred and the division of the Greeks in perpetuity; because the people are looking for a safe party for the stable security of the country, with international prestige, which is proven by the careful steps of the government of the New Democracy, which shields the institutions and the functional independence of the judiciary.
