The most successful government ministersaccording to ALCO’s poll and the variations in candidates for New Democracy and overall.

The new ALCO poll reflects a particularly interesting political landscape for the government’s image, with citizens rating the performance of ministers and highlighting specific individuals as more effective in managing their portfolios. The Nikos Dendias, Kyriakos Pierrakakis and Adonis Georgiadis, while followed by a group of seven executives who garner the highest rates of positive evaluation both in the general sample and among New Democracy voters, with variations in individual preferences. At the same time, it is particularly sensitive that almost half of the citizens choose the answer “none”, registering strong doubt towards the government’s overall work, along with significant signs of dissatisfaction with the accuracy and effectiveness of the support measures.

Defence Minister Nikos Dendias, Finance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis and Health Minister Adonis Georgiades are seen by voters – both in the New Democracy and overall – as the most successful of the government. He is followed by Kostis Hatzidakis, Michalis Chrysochoidis, Vassilis Kikilias and Niki Kerameos, in the second part of the ALCO poll presented on the main Alpha broadcast.

The other broad strokes

For the latter two, the order changes when the question is put to the South West voters, with the Labour Minister narrowly overtaking the Shipping Minister. The answer “none” is given by 49% among all voters, but drops to 2% among ND voters.

The firm counted a 44% who say Macron’s visit has strengthened relations between Greece and France. At the same time, nearly one in two people blame the government for the inaccuracy, while 84% say they benefit little or not at all from the stimulus measures announced.
