The schoolgirl lost the battle for life in MED at CAT hospital, two days after she fell from a six-storey flat with her friend.
The tragedy that shook Heliopolis was completed in the most painful way, as the second 17-year-old schoolgirl breathed her last breath at the KAT hospital on Thursday (14/05).
The girl was in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit after falling twice from the roof of a six-storey apartment building last Tuesday.
While her friend of the same age had died instantly at the scene, the second student fought a tough battle for two twenty-four hours, which unfortunately did not have a happy ending.
The administration of the hospital confirmed her death in an official statement, expressing deep sorrow and condolences to the child’s family.
The hospital’s statement:
“Today 14/05/2026 at 19:54 hrs, the 17-year-old schoolgirl who was hospitalized in the ICU of our hospital since 12/05/2026 lost her battle with life. KAT Hospital expresses its sincere condolences to her family members,” KAT announced.
