On May 26, 6:00-21:00, the College René Descartes and the JOIST Innovation Park are organising a specialised webinar on “The Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging: applications in clinical practice”.
The webinar will highlight modern applications of artificial intelligence in diagnosis, treatment and the new era of healthcare services.
The value of the webinar for healthcare professionals: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging is creating a new paradigm in healthcare, with applications that are beginning to have a profound impact on diagnosis, treatment management and clinical decision making. Through the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to learn about modern technologies and practical applications of AI through real-world examples and expert presentations.
The programme includes topics around medical image analysis, AI applications in therapies using radiopharmaceuticals, digital twins in the new generation of healthcare services, and the role of AI in education of healthcare professionals.
The webinar will feature distinguished scientists and researchers with a significant international presence in the field of medical physics, biomedical technology and AI, such as Dmitris Visvikis from the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research (INSERM), Panagiotis Papadimitroulas from the University of Thessaly and BIOEMTECH, Lidia Strigari from the University of Bologna in Italy and Georgios Kagadis from the University of Patras.

The webinar will be held with limited registration to ensure active participation and meaningful interaction with the presenters, and all participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
