Nikos Hardalias’ statement

The Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias, referred to the importance of the project for the local community, stating: “We are breathing new life into and returning to the community an iconic urban architectural monument, which for decades has been ravaged by neglect. The reuse of an important building and its transformation into a modern cultural space, open and accessible to all, demonstrates the value of the proper use of public resources, but also the dynamics of cooperation between the two levels of government. At the same time, it strengthens the local community, creating a nucleus of creativity, expression and meeting for residents of all ages”.

Interventions of more than 13 million euros.

Nikos Hardalias also stressed that this intervention is part of a wider planning already underway in the area of Dionysos.

As he pointed out, projects totalling more than 13 million euros are being implemented, which concern critical infrastructure, flood protection, road safety, but also school facilities, aiming at the overall upgrading of the region and the improvement of the daily life of citizens.
