Tonight Europe turns its gaze to Vienna for the Eurovision grand final, with Akylas ready for the battle for the top spot. The Greek entry has already managed to steal the show and is considered one of the big favourites for this year’s event.

The contenders for the top spot, according to the betting companies, are several this year. They include Finland, Italy, Australia and Israel in one of the most competitive finals in recent years.
The 70th Eurovision culminates tonight at the Wiener Stadthalle in Austria. A total of 25 countries will take to the stage and after four hours of music, spectacle and suspense, Europe will find out the big winner in 2026.
The night kicks off with hosts Victoria Svarowski, Michael Ostrowski and Emily Baswein from the Green Room.
The final features the ten countries that qualified from the first semi-final, the ten from the second semi-final, the so-called Big 4 – France, UK, Germany and Italy – and last year’s winner Austria.
Maria Kozakou and Giorgos Kapoutzidis are in charge of the evening’s commentary.
Significant changes are in effect this year in the televoting system, as viewers can now vote from the moment the competitive part of the evening starts and do not have to wait until all the performances are over.
