George Liagas did not mince words and spoke about the way Zoe Konstantopoulou.
Specifically, Giorgos Liagas on his show, commenting on political developments, claimed that there is no serious figure on the Left and that they are forcibly bringing back Alexis Tsipras, not because anyone missed him but so they can save themselves politically. At some point, he recalled that Zoe Konstantopoulou, who saw a surge in her poll numbers, did not conduct herself seriously in politics and is now paying the price.
As the well-known host claimed—who generally criticizes the entire political spectrum— Zoe Konstantopoulou missed her chance because she conducted her political campaign in an extremely frivolous manner. He clarified that he is not describing her as frivolous, but rather the way she conducts politics through her loud rhetoric and political exploitation.
It went down the drain with Tempi
As an example, he cited the Tempi accident, noting that she exploited it to the fullest and ultimately went… down the drain, as the credit goes to Maria Karistianou. She was, among others, promoted by Zoe Konstantopoulou, and now they find themselves in completely different political worlds.
She concluded by saying that due to the exploitation of Tembi and her toxic social media posts—we’ll add—she went from 12-13% she ended up back at 5%. But what did they expect from a one-man protest party?
As Giorgos Liagas stated, among other things “Tsipras wasn’t missed. But they couldn’t find anyone credible on the Left. I mean, for me, it’s not the person who’s ridiculous; the way Zoe Konstantopoulou conducted herself in politics was ridiculous. The manner, not the person. The manner, to me, is utterly ridiculous. How she tried to exploit the story of Tembi and so many other things. And now Konstantopoulou is going down the drain. Where she used to get 12-13% and the Bibiles were coming out, now she’s back down to 5%.”
Everyone understands, however, that the country cannot and must not be governed again by this dismal hodgepodge of the Left.
