The participation of citizens in the blood donation organized by the Municipality of Peania was inspiring. A large number of volunteers visited the KAPI of Sweet Waters and participated in the action by offering life to our fellow citizens.
This way the blood bank was further strengthened, through which dozens of our fellow citizens have been supported over the last year.
“Another blood donation action was a complete success. My heartfelt thanks to the volunteers who have been supporting the effort of the Municipality of Peania to maintain the blood bank over the years, proving in practice the desire of our fellow citizens for an unselfish contribution to their fellow man. Donating blood is the greatest gift one can give. At the critical moment it will save a life that would otherwise be lost. Blood is free so it is extremely valuable. Witness dozens of our fellow citizens who turned to the municipality and stepped up in their own time of need. Giving BLOOD means giving LIFE,” said the mayor of Peania Isidoros Madis.
