Enhancing extroversion and supporting the Organization’s traders.
The Organization of Central Markets and Fisheries (Central Markets and Fisheries Organization S.A.) participated in the international exhibition Seafood Expo Global, which took place from 21 to 23 April in Barcelona, confirming its strategic commitment to strengthening the extroversion and international presence of the Greek fish market.
The Seafood Expo Global is the largest international trade fair for the fish and seafood sector, bringing together professionals, institutions and businesses from all over the world. In this context, the main objective of CSO’s participation was to support the companies operating in the Organization’s facilities and strengthen their international connectivity.
OKAA participated with a pavilion, which hosted traders of the Organization, in order to have the opportunity to promote their activity and hold business contacts and trade meetings with representatives of the international market. These meetings contributed substantially to the exchange of know-how, the exploration of new partnerships and the expansion of the commercial prospects of the participants.
The presence of the OKAA at Seafood Expo demonstrated its role as an institutional pillar of support for its traders, acting as a link between the Greek market and the international business environment in the fish sector.
The Organization’s stand was visited, among others, by Mr. Pantelis Gasios, Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs I of the Embassy of Greece in Madrid, which underlined the importance of cooperation with governmental and diplomatic bodies for the promotion of Greek entrepreneurship abroad.
The participation of the OCAA in Seafood Expo Global is part of a wider framework of actions aimed at the continuous strengthening of extroversion, the support of businesses operating in the markets and fish markets of the Organization and the upgrading of the international image of the Greek fish market.
With a consistent and dynamic presence in leading international events, the OCAA S.A. continues to invest in the development of partnerships, to actively support its traders and to contribute to the formation of a modern and competitive framework for the food and fish industry.
