Age cutter on electric scooters was announced by Minister Dimitris Papastergiou, speaking to ERTnews.
“Tools like Gov.gr Wallet and Kids Wallet can help, just like they do today with tobacco and alcohol sales checks,” he added.
“So, we have to prove we are adults in order to be able to get a scooter,” he noted.
As he explained, “once someone scans with their phone to use the scooter, it will read their age.”
